METROLOGY TECHNICIAN

 

Purpose
 Performs the gauge calibration process according to the applicableprocedures.
Main Responsibilities
 Calibrates the gauges.
 Gathers and compiles data and results during the calibration process inthe available IT tool, checks against applicable specifications andprepares the calibration reports.
 Analyzes the results of the calibration process, recommending changesand or improvements.
 Assists in the analysis of new suppliers of calibration tooling andequipments.
 Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, andensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the areaof responsibility.
 Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment andother physical resources assigned to his/her area.
