LOCATION: Ambridge - Pennsylvania - USA
DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
Manages and oversees maintenance activities within the assigned area of responsibility to ensure equipment reliability, availability, and process continuity. Supports the Maintenance Line Manager in the overall management of the line/process and contributes technical expertise to analyze and resolve complex maintenance issues. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Optimize asset availability, reliability, and cost by improving maintenance strategies, execution quality, and reducing maintenance workload.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including failure and root cause analysis of equipment breakdowns.
- Monitor maintenance performance indicators and ensure implementation and sharing of maintenance best practices.
- Analyze equipment data and maintenance history to identify improvement opportunities and optimize maintenance strategies and criticality assessments.
- Support equipment lifecycle management, including specification, procurement, installation, upgrades, and participation in investment planning.
- Manage technical documentation, ensuring proper cataloguing, updating, and availability of specifications, procedures, and drawings.
- Coordinate maintenance execution, ensuring internal and external services meet time, cost, quality, and safety standards.
- Contribute to spare parts and inventory definition through technical analysis to ensure proper stock levels.
- Act as a technical reference, supporting complex problem solving and coordination with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
- Promote energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resource utilization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or maintenance specialist roles in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience in maintenance planning, execution, and failure analysis
- Working knowledge of vibration analysis, PLC systems, and SAP Maintenance solutions
- Ability to analyze equipment data, maintenance history, and technical documentation
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities with operations and engineering teams
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in industrial settings
