Warehouse Shift Leader - Ambridge/Koppel, PA
LOCATION: Ambridge - Pennsylvania - USA
DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
Purpose:
Optimizes warehouse activities by supervising and seeking improvement in reception, dispatch and delivery activities and storage conditions in all areas of General Warehouse.
Main Responsibilities:
- Controls materials entered into General Warehouse stocks ensuring an efficient management and identifying improvement opportunities aimed at streamlining supply and spare parts stock.
- Ensures compliance with delivery requests supervising materials dispatch process.
- Manages and supervises accounting closings of materials, raw materials, semifinished products and manufacturing equipment warehouses in coordination with the corresponding area.
- Oversees and controls compliance with allocated budget looking for opportunity areas to reduce costs.
- Controls inventories movement and assessment preparing monthly management reports.
- Ensures the application and development of safety standards and practices and compliance with environmental practices/legislation.
- Acts as a "shift leader" being responsible for leading employees during their assigned time period/shift, coordinating schedules, assigning responsibilities and ensure work safety conditions.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility. To participate in HSE objectives setting, define and implement programs and actions applicable to the area of responsibility for continual improvement of HSE performance.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
