MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
Ensuring automation and robotic systems across the industrial facility (HRM, WIP, HT, Casing, Services, WH) are operating at standard performance (Availability, Reliability, Maintainability) using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Robotics cells and vis ion systems, HMis, inverters and digital drives, industrial networks, and Level 2 systems.
Executing, leading and/or technically supervising the safe execution of maintenance activities performed on Automation and Robotic systems, taking as main premises the safety of the personnel (direct and indirect employees).
Ensuring prompt correction of unsafe conditions and promote safe behaviours in the personnel in the area of responsibility.
Recording promptly (per procedure) all safety/environmental events and activities in the official Tenaris Safety and Environmental System (TSE).
Defining with the support of Maintenance Engineering and according to the equipment criticality assessment, the maintenance policies applicable to the equipment under his/her responsibility and needed to comply with the maintenance performance goals.
Defining, developing and executing maintenance inspection and maintenance plans in quality and quantity to assure achieving the ma intenance performance goals assigned to his/her area of responsibility.
Defining, developing, and executing PIN-Plans, Environmental-Plans, and Q-Plans in quality and quantity to comply with the general and specific safety and wellbeing of people, installations and equipment in his/her area of responsibility.
Actively performing failure and root cause analysis, focusing on the maintenance "ABC " of significant failures.
Establishing and executing the proper corrective action plan to eliminate or reduce the root causes.
Promoting knowledge-sharing regarding these events among other Tenaris mills and facilities as well with the corporate expert departments (PRIN / OPCO).
Defining, developing and executing master plans to continuously improve the maintenance performance, focusing in safety, reliability, and maintainability.
Programming the necessary maintenance activities in PM Days and REX to achieve the maintenance performance goals and determine, according to inspection plans, maintenance plans, master plans, and failures/root cause analysis, action plans.
Planning and executing PM (Plant Maintenance) days and REX in the area under the BMG responsibility.
Recommend critical spare parts, ensuring minimum stock (while optimizing storage costs) and performing spare part criticality analysis .
Maintaining the technical records in the maintenance management system updated (SAP PM).
Proposing and participating in the redesign of Automation and Robotic Systems with the Maintenance Engineering support, seeking improvements in safety, reliability and maintainability
Performing, planning, and/or facilitating in coordination with Maintenance Engineering the execution of inspection plans using predictive techniques and/or technologies.
Being a technical reference for Automation and Robotics systems as well as the operational team.
Training and developing AM Operators and other Maintenance Employees in Automation and Robotic Systems.
Actively participating and collaborating with Production teams in increasing performance indicators (Quality rejects, CTT, CTR, Change overs, Operative interruption) of his/her area of responsibility.
Participating in Continuous Improvement Teams (CIT), as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Industrial Engineering Technology or Industrial Mechanical Technology or Industrial Maintenance Technology, or a closely related field.
Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation leading technical teams in operating and/or maintaining heavy manufacturing steel industrial systems using each of the following: AC Motors and VFD Systems; Power Distribution and Motor Control Systems; Instrumentation Systems such as Profinet able sensors and instruments; Digital/Electrical Control Systems; Robotic cells, CNC machines, and controls; predictive maintenance; and hydraulic equipment.
Alternative Requirements
Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience in a related occupation leading technical teams in operating and/or maintaining heavy manufacturing steel industrial systems using each of the following: AC Motors and VFD Systems; Power Distribution and Motor Control Systems; Instrumentation Systems such as Profinet able sensors and instruments; Digital/Electrical Control Systems; Robotic cells, CNC machines, and controls; predictive maintenance; and hydraulic equipment.
