MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
- Ensure the compliance of the safety goals, by applying safety and environmental policies/procedures; and implement or execute the needed corrective and preventative safety/environmental activities or action.
- Ensure the safe execution of all maintenance activities performed under the Base Maintenance Group (BMG) technical supervision.
- Define with the support of Maintenance Engineering according to the equipment criticality analysis, the maintenance policies applicable to the equipment and needed to comply with the maintenance performance goals.
- Define, develop, and execute maintenance inspection and maintenance plans in quality and quantity to assure the maintenance performance goals assigned are achieved.
- Propose, develop, and execute PIN plans in quality and quantity to comply with Tenaris maintenance standards, to installations and equipment.
- Perform failure and root cause analysis, focusing on the maintenance of significant failures.
- Propose and execute the proper corrective action plan to eliminate or reduce the root causes or their impact.
- Propose, develop, and execute master plans to continue improve the maintenance performance, focusing on safety, reliability, and maintainability.
- Program necessary maintenance activities as well as plan and execute in PM (Plant Maintenance) Days and REX to achieve the maintenance performance goals determined according to inspection plans, maintenance plans, master plans, and failures/rout-cause analysis action plans.
- Review the maintenance activities performed by third parties in the area; assuring safety, quality and productivity while performing the activities.
- Guarantee the availability of critical spare parts and ensure minimum stock while optimizing storage costs through spare part criticality analysis for systems and equipment.
- Update and maintain technical records in the maintenance management system (SAP PM).
- Propose and participate in the redesign of machines and/or components with Maintenance Engineering support, seeking improvements in safety, reliability and maintainability.
- Propose maintenance costs budget, and once it has been approved, monitor its compliance.
- Perform, plan, and/or facilitate in coordination with Maintenance Engineering the execution of inspection plans using predictive techniques and/or technologies
- Act as a technical referent for the equipment or technology.
- Participate actively in Continuous Improvement Groups (CIG) covering safety, production, quality, and/or maintenance topics.
- Actively participate and collaborate with production teams in increasing performance indicators (Quality rejects, CTT, CTR, Change overs, Operative interruption) in area of influence or expertise.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technology or closely related field such as Mechatronic Engineering.
- One (1) year of experience in a related occupation in each of the following: operating or maintaining heavy manufacturing steel industrial systems including AC Motor and VFD systems (Siemens S- Sensitivity: Confidential 120 and G-120 drives; Motors up to 6000HP) and Digital/Electrical Control Systems (Siemens S7- 1500 F PLCs, Siemens Step 7 engineering software, Profinet, Profisafe, Profi Energy, I Device, Share Device, Profinet 1/0, Mobile Panel MP277F IWLAN V2, Aps SCALANCE W788-2RR, Cisco switches operative system, VLAN, RSTP, or PortChannel); preventative/corrective maintenance for ultrasonics, longitudinal and transversal inspection NDT equipment; preventative/corrective maintenance visual and optical testing, magnetic particle and penetrant testing of NDT equipment.
