Schedule: Rotating (Day/Night) shift
- Candidates would have to be able to adapt to various weather conditions.
- MUST hold a valid Drivers License
Purpose
Performs mechanic and hydraulic inspections, diagnosis and corrective actions autonomously, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards.
Main Responsibilities

- Commit with health, safety and environmental policies and notify situations that present potential risk. - Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations. - Carry out duties in an efficient manner meeting productivity and efficiency standards in accordance with minimum costs. - Perform activities according to applicable procedures. - Complete and update all applicable records ensuring information accuracy and product traceability. - Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting malfunctioning. - Attend and collaborate in training activities in ordered to maintain and increase the company knowledge. - Proactively suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement activities. - Maintain a clean and ordered workplace. - Perform activities understanding their consequences on the global process. - Abide by Tenaris discipline norms. |
Main Activities
" - Inspects, diagnoses and performs mechanic and hydraulic repairs and replacements autonomously.
- Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
- Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
- Performs mechanic and hydraulic activities such as equipment alignments, valves settings and maintenance or 5 senses' inspections.
- Disassembles and assembles mechanical components.
- Executes maintenance plans.
- Interprets technical drawing.
- Carries out equipment oiling and centralized lubrication control.
- Operates welding equipment under supervision.
- Executes machine lock outs and tag outs.
- Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications.
- Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
- Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports. "
