*Night Shift Premium (for overnight shifts): $1.50 in addition to base rate.

Purpose

Performs the operation of pipe yard control in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Commit with health, safety and environmental policies and notify situations that present potential risk
  • Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations.
  • Carry out duties in an efficient manner meeting productivity and efficiency standards in accordance with minimum costs.
  • Perform activities according to applicable procedures.
  • Complete and update all applicable records ensuring information accuracy and product traceability.
  • Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting malfunctioning
  • Attend and collaborate in training activities in ordered to maintain and increase the company knowledge
  • Proactively suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain a clean and ordered workplace.
  • Perform activities understanding their consequences on the global process
  • Abide by Tenaris discipline norms.
  • Maintain on call availability – Monitoring email and cell after hours.

Main Activities

  • Physically checking trucks before they leave
  • Systematically checking trucks – Gateway/YMS
  • Tablet troubleshooting.
  • Data entry
  • Yard coordination
  • Interacting with brokers/drivers
  • Contacting carriers for ETA
  • Closing trips in SICRAM – Security database
  • Monitoring truck permanence
  • Build truck Schedule
  • Creating STO/FO
  • Tendering in TM – Securing carriers
  • Perform controller activities when on call
  • Coordinate with other Tenaris yards
  • Creating IT tickets

Minimum Qualifications for the Job

  • Maintain HSE standard

  • Completion of On-the-Job Training
  • Product Inspection when applicable
  • High technical skills
  • High Interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in schedule
