VERIFICATION & CONTROL INSPECTOR I

Purpose:

Performs the verifications and/or final inspections as applicable.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Performs the verifications and/or final inspections as requested.
  •  Reports results of the verifications and/or inspections performed.
  •  Supports manufacturing areas on technical matters as required.
  •  Evaluates the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action taken as part of a quality event.

 

Validate Process

  • Follow up critical orders/customers/projects.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action taken as part of a quality event.

Analyze Data

  • Download, analyze and verify process data on regular basis to find trends, deviations and/or risks that could affect process and or product performance.
  • Work with Operations to define and implement actions to mitigate/eliminate risks of deviation.
  • Re-Define (if necessary) new limits/calibrations/procedures to be used on different products

Support Process Improvement

  • Understand the process and help identify areas of improvement, proposing solutions when possible
  • Support manufacturing areas on technical matters as required

 

  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

 

Experience and Education

  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality or related)
  • Self-driven and self-starter
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Enjoys fast paced environment
