Cut Off Operator / Baytown, TX  

LOCATION: Baytown - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS 

Purpose

Performs the operation of cropping pipes or samples on seamless pipe in a safe and efficient manner following Work Instructions and Procedures while complying with Tenaris Quality standards.

Main Activities

 - Must operate light pallet forklift
 - Executes change over and set up of the cutting machine.
 - Performs cutting machine operation, recording results in online systems.
 - Changes machine tools as needed. (blade change)
 - Performs LOTO, preventitive maintenance (PM Day), and does daily operative maintenance (cutting fluid, blades, machine adjustments, etc.).         
 - Delivers samples to Quality or Dumps crop bin via light forklift.
 - Performs housekeeping of own workstation and Finishing line if needed.
- Other duties as assigned
