HSE Analyst/Sr. Analyst - Baytown, TX  

 

LOCATION: Baytown - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT 

 

The Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year full-time program that supports the development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders at Tenaris. A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris’ culture and industrial heritage, leaving them prepared to take the next steps in their careers.

The role contributes to the HSE department while the individual learns, trains, and improves skills in this area to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services.

 

Purpose: Support the Health, Safety & Environment function by ensuring that the HSE management system is implemented as defined by company requirements and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with the Sites HSE team to define and provide a comprehensive and coherent application of the management system.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of HSE procedures according to corporate requirements. Prepare HSE corporate reports, and analyze statistics and trends of HSE indicators.
  • Participate in the internal audit program and inspections.
  • Assist in the development of HSE training.
  • Ensure proper use of company IT tools (TSE, IDM, TMC, etc.).
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensure adherence to all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Protect facilities, equipment, and other physical resources assigned to the area from damage, theft, or misuse.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related engineering majors.
  • Knowledge of OSHA 10 regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • At least one year of experience as a Health, Safety, and Environmental professional.
  • This position is on call 24/7.
  • Experience in environmental management systems is required; ISO experience is a plus.
  • Must have public speaking experience for conducting training sessions.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills and a proactive, initiative-driven mindset.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
