MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

• Performs advanced electrical and electronic maintenance, focusing on robotics, machine vision, automation, and CNC systems.
• Conducts Inspections, diagnoses issues, and implements corrective actions.
• Utilizes systematic problem analysis to identify improvement opportunities and provides technical support as a subject matter expert, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable procedures, best practices, and quality standards.
• Inspects, diagnoses and performs advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements and upgrades.
• Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
• Inspects any electric and electronic equipment according to maintenance plans.
• Makes complex failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
• Performs reviews of emergency groups' repairs and complex failure analysis.
• Plans subassemblies policies.
• Develops advanced PLC programs and software.
• Interprets electrical drawings.
• Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill specifications.
• Develops and tests preventive complex maintenance plans.
• Carries out analysis and proposal of investments in equipment and machine upgrades and replacements.
• Plans corrective actions for scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns, based on the inspections performed or the problems diagnosed.
• Plans and guarantees the availability of resources, materials and spare parts, ensuring a suitable minimum stock and the definition of the required information on the maintenance systems.
• Interacts with other areas.
• Research spare parts requirements and new material utilization.
• Defines maintenance strategies for each equipment (corrective, preventive or predictive).
• Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
• Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field
• Three (3) years of experience in an automation or electrical maintenance-related occupation in the manufacturing industry performing each of the following: utilizing Rockwell automation software, including Studio 5000, RSLinx, RSNetWorx for ControlNet, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, FactoryTalk View, FactoryTalk View Site Edition, and FactoryTalk AssetCentre; utilizing ibaPDA software; utilizing Cognex bar code scanners with DataMan Setup Tool; and utilizing AutoCAD Electrical for the creation and management of electrical control systems.
