Industrial Process Technician - Blytheville, AR  

LOCATION: Blytheville, AR

DEPARTMENT: Finishing

Purpose: This role focuses on reducing cycle and changeover times, minimizing rework rates, and enhancing tooling and measurement systems by driving continuous improvement in the finishing line. The position also supports the industrial development of new products

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
 

• Enhance Efficiency: Implement ABC action plans and follow-ups to improve utilization, reduce operative interruptions, and minimize changeover, tooling, and setup times.
• Reduce Rework Rate: Monitor indicators and CTT per process, executing action plans to control and lower rework rates while improving overall product quality.
• Optimize Cycle Time: Analyze processes using tools like IBA, AutoCAD, and simulations to identify improvement areas and optimize production flow
• Advance Tooling and Measurement: Test and develop tooling, carbides, and gauges to improve design, ergonomics, coating performance, and inspection efficiency.
• Support Development and Operations: Participate in new product/process design and automation initiatives while assisting production, troubleshooting, and training new engineers.
• Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
• Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

KNOWLEDGE

• PMC Pipe threading machine: High productivity equipment to thread API and proprietary Tenaris connections according to tolerances and specifications.
• CNC Programming / CNC FANUC FS0i-TD: Computer Numerical Control software to command instruction program to machine threads as per specifications and standards.
• Autocad: Knowledge preferrable
• Minitab: Knowledge preferrable
