Job Description

This job will work on a ROTATING Shift.

Up to 30% monthly bonus incentive plan

Up to $300 monthly attendance bonus

15% Location Premium on hourly rate

7% 401k match

1.50 night shift premium

Industrial Electrical Maintenance

Performs electric and electronic advanced maintenance inspections, diagnosis and equipment improvements, providing support in emergencies, engineering improvements, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards. Provides support as a technical referent.

Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Main Activities:

• Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
• Interprets electrical drawings.
• Calibrates and performs adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PLCs.
• Performs programming and adjustments in variable speed drive controls.
• Intervenes in PLC malfunctioning, spotting software or hardware failures.
• Intervenes in sensors control loops and in variable speed drives.
• Verifies and ensures the availability of resources and spare parts needed for the execution of programmed tasks.
• Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications
• Carries out repairs and improvements on large electrical engines, low and mid voltage panels and protection systems.
• Inspects, diagnoses and performs advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements and upgrades.
• Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
• Cooperates with the Base Group in preventive activities.
• Interacts with other areas.
• Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
• Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.
• Leads Electric / Electronic Emergency Crews.
