Product Warehouse Supervisor 

 

LOCATION: Blytheville - Arkansas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain

 

Supervises the incoming/outcoming product process ensuring the receipt process is performed in accordance with the operating and safety procedures in force.

Tasks:

  • Responsible for the proper receipt and stowage of products.
  • Supervises the incoming product process ensuring the receipt process is performed in accordance with the operating and safety procedures in force.
  • Ensures shipments are fulfilled within the established time frame and according to required conditions.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for leading employees during their assigned time period/shift, coordinating schedules, assigning responsibilities and ensure work safety conditions.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
  • Comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process. Implement the preventive/corrective actions. Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
  • To participate in HSE objectives setting, define and implement programs and actions applicable to the area of responsibility for continual improvement of HSE performance
  • Understanding and implementation of safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Awareness of legal and regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations, including handling hazardous materials or compliance with industry standards.

Technical Skills

  • Inventory Management: Proficiency in managing inventory, including receiving, storing, and organizing products efficiently.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Understanding of logistics processes, such as shipping, transportation, and distribution strategies.
  • Warehouse Operations: Knowledge of warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, and managing storage areas effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ability to oversee quality assurance and quality control procedures to maintain product integrity.

Leadership & Managerial skills

  • Team Leadership: Capability to lead and motivate warehouse teams to achieve productivity goals and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with the staff, management, suppliers, and other departments effectively.
  • Problem-solving: Proficiency in identifying and resolving issues that may arise in warehouse operations promptly.
  • Decision-making: Ability to make critical decisions related to inventory management, resource allocation, and workflow improvements.
  • Adaptability: Capability to adapt to changing circumstances and implement improvements in warehouse operations.
