Purpose:
Performs mechanical and hydraulic inspections, diagnosis and corrective actions autonomously, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Commit to health, safety and environmental policies and notify situations that present potential risk.
- Ensure product quality complies with defined standards and reporting deviations.
- Carry out duties in an efficient manner meeting productivity and efficiency standards in accordance with minimum costs.
- Perform activities according to applicable procedures.
- Complete and update all applicable records ensuring information accuracy and product traceability.
- Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting malfunctioning.
- Attend and collaborate in training activities in order to maintain and increase the company knowledge.
- Proactively suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement activities. - Maintain a clean and ordered workplace.
- Perform activities understanding their consequences on the global process.
- Abide by Tenaris discipline norms.
Maintenance Planning:
- Good experience and autonomy with SAP
- Follow up with repairs, inspections, ordering and follow up of spare parts, l3ad times and criticalities
- Manage contracts, communicate with vendors, manage external repairs, services Manpower and processing SES, invoices and payment
- Good communication and follow up skills with clients, customers, suppliers.
- Forklift driving skills.
- Writing and modifying scopes of works and procedures.
- Follow up of repairable items, safety stock and repair status of sub-assemblies and fabrication requests.
- Reading mechanical blue prints (desirable)
- Good computer skills Microsoft 365, teams.
Main Activities:
- Inspects, diagnoses and performs mechanic and hydraulic repairs and replacements autonomously.
- Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
- Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
- Performs mechanic and hydraulic activities such as equipment alignments, valves settings and maintenance or 5 senses' inspections.
- Disassembles and assembles mechanical components.
- Executes maintenance plans.
- Interprets technical drawing.
- Carries out equipment oiling and centralized lubrication control.
- Operates welding equipment under supervision.
- Executes machine lock outs and tag outs.
- Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications.
- Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
- Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.
