Commercial Coordination Analyst
LOCATION: Calgary - AB - Canada

Role
The Commercial Coordination Analyst is responsible for initiating the Commercial process from the reception of a customer’s request for quotation to the fulfillment of the business sale, inclusive of; offer preparation, pricing and competitive environment analysis, purchase order entry, submission and collection as well as working closely with relevant Commercial, Technical Sales, Supply Chain and Quality personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Manage offer engineering process and fulfilment feasibility including stock availability, review mill allocation, logistics, third party requirements, cost gathering, etc.
- Partnering with Commercial Front End (Sales) team during offering engineering process regarding pricing strategy and business model definition.
- Work together with Technical Sales and Quality on product definition and feasibility during the offering engineering.
- Analyze market dynamics, competitor’ behavior and their impact on the business.
- Analyze and understand main drivers for prices and costs, as well as differences between products.
- Understand main Price Adjustment Methodologies (PAMs) and keep them updated.
- Support Commercial Front End on pricing negotiations.
- Initialize sales order in system and request third party services and purchase orders.
- Creation and management of customer agreement and price lists in the system.
- Work closely with Commercial Front End and Supply Chain (i.e. Resources Planning) departments on previsions for spot business.
- Creation and management of commercial contracts and long term agreements.
- Review existing processes and tools for process improvement. Create ad-hoc reports and data analysis to drive business insight for optimization, and compliance requirements.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in oil and gas or manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and Excel skills to produce reports for pricing/cost trends required
- Power BI knowledge and/or experience is preferred
- SAP experience would be considered an asset
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office application.
