Rolling Mill Analyst
LOCATION: Campana - Buenos Aires - Argentina
DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
PURPOSE
Coordinates and controls the Rolling mill production process and operations by complying with production programs, ensuring compliance
with established quality, consumption, cost and production standards. Proposes improvements in production processes and minimizes accident
risks in the area generating a safe work environment. Coordinates preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
- Ensures compliance with production plan according to quality, consumption, cost and production standards.
- Ensures compliance with process quality programs, procedures and operating standards to ensure product quality.
- Ensures compliance with costs objectives according to established budget. Identifies and defines corrective actions.
- Manages, organizes and controls stock of bars under area of responsibility,ensuring safe movement,storage and use of stocks and spare parts. Keeps appropriate and cost effective stock levels.
- Proposes improvements in production processes identifying opportunities in the area, developing and implementing new applications or technologies.
- Ensures the application and/or development of safety standards and practices in compliance with environmental practices/legislation.
- Guarantees compliance and respect for the consumption targets/goals, carrying out appropriate actions on employees' behaviour that contribute to the improvement and/or productive/efficient use of the plant resources, as well as the decrease of the energy consumptions and waste. To comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process. Implement the preventive/corrective actions. Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
