Administrative Clerk
LOCATION: Camrose - Alberta - Canada
DEPARTMENT: HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT
Role
The Administrative Clerk (3-Month Contract) provides essential administrative and clerical support to the manufacturing and operations teams. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, smooth office operations, and effective communication across departments in an industrial manufacturing environment. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to manufacturing, operations, HSE and plant management teams.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases related to production, safety, inventory, purchasing, and personnel.
- Perform data entry, prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and meeting documentation.
- Support document control and compliance with company policies, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate and liaise with internal departments, vendors, and visitors to ensure efficient information flow.
- Assist with scheduling, timesheets, audits, inspections, and general office operations in a manufacturing setting.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field (office administration) is considered a strong asset.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems is an asset.
- Accurate data entry and strong keyboarding skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
Schedule & Working Conditions:
- 8-hr Days, with flexibility based on business needs.
- This is a 3-month contract temporary position.
- Work is primarily performed in an office setting within a manufacturing facility.
