Maintenance Planner (Camrose)  

 

LOCATION: Camrose - Alberta  - Canada 

DEPARTMENT: MAINTENANCE 

 

Role

The Maintenance Planner carries out the maintenance planning and management control activities. Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports in order to support the decision-making process of different areas. Plans scheduled repairs (regular and annual) in accordance with the production plans and maintenance strategies.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the application of health, safety and environment standards and practices. To comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process. Implement the preventive/corrective actions. Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
  • Plans scheduled repairs (regular and annual) in accordance with the production plans and maintenance strategies.
  • Prepares standard and ad-hoc reports in order to support the decision-making process of different areas.
  • Analyzes and controls technical specifications and requirements for maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with user needs.
  • Interacts and coordinates with external services to fulfill internal user requirements and needs.
  • Follows up scheduled maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with user needs.
  • Manages and updates the maintenance information system, keeping record of the information related to their area.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 years minimum experience in industrial maintenance, trades work or hands-on engineering technician is an asset.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Trade (433a), Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Applicant must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Applicant must be familiar with manufacturing environment safety procedures.
  • Previous experience with SAP considered an asset, or other CMMS system.

 

Schedule & Working Conditions:

  • 8hr Days – with flexibility based on business needs.
  • On-call rotation.
  • Work is performed in a steel manufacturing mill.

 

 

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $69,000.00 – $114,000,00 annually.

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
