Continuous Improvement Analyst | TenarisShawcor | Coatzacoalcos  

 

Location: TenarisShawcor - Coatzacoalcos

Department:  Operations - Coatzacoalcos

 

  • Education:
    • Industrial Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

 

  • English
    • Level: Intermediate - Advanced

 

  • Purpose:
    • Responsible for the development and deployment of site wide continuous improvement initiatives (i.e. ShawCor Manufacturing System, etc) to reduce core business operating costs. Key in this effort will be: the collection and analysis of operational data, identification and prioritization of improvement opportunities, the development of solutions and deployment plans, along with tactics to sustain the gains. Responsible for planning, organizing and executing continuous improvement projects from the conceptual stage through to commissioning. Development and integration of CI techniques into the site culture and daily activities. Collect, generate and send the corporate reports.

 

  • Activities:
    • Application of techniques (i.e. SMS; etc) to improve manufacturing and administrative processes (i.e. throughput, equipment reliability, product quality, and etc.)
    • Analysis of operational data, process maps, etc to identify improvement opportunities. Develop solution proposals including baselines, project timelines, resources requirements, progress tracking / sustaining and etc to realize benefits.
    • Facilitation of continuous improvement activities and development of key internal Champions to drive future activities.
    • Investigation and transfer of best practices and process improvements to divisions globally.

 

  • Preferrable: 
    • Experience: 3 Years 
    • Lean Six Sigma Certification
