HR Compensation & Organization US Senior Manager - Houston, TX

Location: Houston, TX (Reports to Houston, TX office and may allow for partial telecommuting)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:
- Ensures the appropriate application of Compensation, Benefits and Organization's policies and guidelines with the aim of attracting, retaining and motivating the necessary Human Resources.
- Manages country headcount, preparing reports for executive management to control and regulate deviations.
- Evaluates organizational structure and standardization, ensuring job descriptions and evaluations are maintained for all employees.
- Ensures Compensation, Benefits and Organization data is updated in SAP HR.
- Conducts annual salary and benefits market research, analyzes reports, updates salary scales and proposes actions to ensure salary competitiveness and cost efficiency.
- Supervises compensation cycles (mid-year and IPB end year) to ensure alignment between line managers' proposals and compensations policy.
- Supports proactively line managers' needs regarding individual salary analysis, market information, compensations guidelines, etc.
- Provides support to International Assignments department so that benefits of expatriated personnel are consistent with the expats / STA policy and guarantees that expatriated personnel and STA receives accurate information and good service.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources or closely related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in a related occupation in a steel manufacturing facility performing each of the following: data analytics utilizing pivot tables, lookup and data validation to improve global growth schemes; preparing compensation training; managing and consolidating global budgets utilizing SAP; reviewing and implementing compensation cycles and promotions; executive compensation management (long term incentives); performing SOX internal audits. Must also possess one (1) year of experience in each of the following: global organization design functions; conducting organizational positions class reassessment for global & matrix organizations analyzing technical expertise of key technical employees with global referents in order to promote through organization; and preparing and presenting trainings to managers on organizational design concepts and programs.
Special Requirement: Up to 10% domestic and international travel required to Tenaris sites.
