Learning & Development Sr. Analyst - Houston, TX  

LOCATION: Houston - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES 

Purpose

Design, implement, and monitor learning and development programs that support employee growth, business objectives, and organizational capability building. Foster a culture of continuous learning by creating innovative, effective, and practical development initiatives that enhance employee performance and engagement across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the annual training and development plan aligned with business and organizational needs.
• Identify training and development requirements based on individual development plans, performance evaluations, and organizational priorities.
• Coordinate and monitor language programs, graduate trainee programs, leadership initiatives, supervisory development programs, and other corporate learning initiatives.
• Organize and oversee all logistical aspects of training activities and events to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
• Partner with educational institutions, consultants, vendors, and trainers to design and deliver innovative learning solutions that address current and future organizational needs.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps, define development priorities, and group roles with similar learning requirements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, participation metrics, and business impact indicators, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Review and assess requests for specialized training in collaboration with managers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and development goals.
• Maintain, review, and update training materials, manuals, and learning content to reflect technological advancements, process improvements, and emerging business requirements.
• Manage relationships with universities, consultants, and training providers, negotiating programs and services to ensure high-quality delivery at competitive costs.
• Promote learning opportunities across the organization, communicating program offerings, eligibility criteria, and participation requirements.
• Maintain accurate learning records and training databases, tracking employee progress and preparing reports and analytics to support management decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to measure learning effectiveness, employee participation, compliance, and overall development outcomes.
• Support talent development initiatives, including career development programs, succession planning efforts, onboarding, and leadership development activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to training and employee development.
