Mill Product & Metallurgist Specialist 

LOCATION: HOUSTON - TEXAS - USA 

DEPARTMENT: QUALITY

Main Responsibilities:
- Internal failure analysis.
- Management of customer claims/complaints through failure analysis.
- Verification and control of TCT welding processes.
- Definition of Heat Treatment conditions for TCT products.
- Review and validation of final product compliance.
- Participation of internal and external audits.

Special Skills & Knowledge Required

- Mechanical testing interpretation; Scanning Electron Microscopy desired. 
- Proficient to write technical reports to be presented to customers explaining failure modes and root causes. 
- Understanding of welding procedures and metallurgical transformations during welding processes.
- Knowledge of steel Heat Treatment and its correlation with chemical composition and mechanical properties.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Creative thinking to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
