Production Planning and Scheduling Analyst / Sr. Analyst - Houston, TX  

 

LOCATION: Houston - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION PLANNING & SCHEDULING

Purpose

Provides support on the mill schedule and / or production programming and or dispatch activities, ensuring compliance in due time and manner. Analyzes the available capacity of the Productions Units (PUs) by establishing available space.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Participates in the preparation of the production program estimating production needs, considering plant capacity, and identifying any operational restrictions such as tooling and operating sequence.
  • Collaborates ensuring the production programs are completed in due time and manner coordinating corrective actions when necessary, analyzing required inputs for production and ensuring an appropriate equipment operation.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area. 

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a Supply Chain related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage stress effectively and adapt to changing conditions in the workplace.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
