Spring Internship Program 2023 - Accounting - Houston, TX  

LOCATION: Houston - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE 

The Intern will contribute to the Accounting Department processes while he/she learns, trains, and improves skills in that particular area in order to gain a profound understanding of processes, products, and services.

Ability to work part-time (less than 20 hours per week) and be a hybrid work scheduled at assigned location during the internship program

Purpose

Provides timely and accurate information on accounting records maintaining ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports

Main Responsibilities

• Learns and improves skills in a professional setting to further expand and complement theory learned in the classroom.
• Learns various staff functions, including operations, management viewpoints and company policies and practices affecting each phase of business.
• Learns about Tenaris business, systems and processes through learning activities (e-learnings, classrooms, MOOCs, etc), OJT and Manual Operations.
• Analyzes information and prepares different deliverables as reports and processes.
• Gains professional experience, contacts, and starts building his/her professional network.
• Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
• Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
