Talent Attraction, Development & Training Leader - Houston, TX  

 

LOCATION: Houston - Texas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES 

 

Purpose:
Collaborates in recruiting & selection activities in the region, and in the implementation of Personnel Development plans, people reviews and in the Performance Appraisal Process. Designs, develops and monitors training activities for the Region in compliance with global Tenaris University guidelines, and according with the position and personnel development plans.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Support Talent Attraction strategy and execution Contribute to the design and execution of recruiting strategies, including campus initiatives, early career pipelines, and targeted sourcing to attract talent aligned with business needs (e.g., Field Services and operational roles).

  • Drive campus and early talent development programs Coordinate relationships with academic institutions and support the implementation of internship, trainee, and entry-level programs to build a sustainable talent pipeline

  • Support Talent Development and capability building initiatives. Assist in the deployment and tracking of development programs (technical and leadership), ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and future capability requirements, support on training initiatives for Salary population

  • Enable People Review and succession planning processes, performance management process. Support data preparation, analysis, and follow-up actions related to talent reviews, succession planning, and development plans to strengthen internal talent pipelines.

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to identify talent needs Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand current and future workforce requirements, particularly in critical areas such as Field Services, and support initiatives to close capability and staffing gaps

 

Critical Knowledge & Skills: 

  • Talent Management processes (Talent Attraction, Development, Succession Planning)

  •  Recruiting strategies (campus, early talent, operational roles)

  • HR systems and data structures (LMS, HRIS, reporting), Analytical tools, Power BI, Power Automate, copilot studio

  • Learning & Development methodologies

  • Industrial / operational environment understanding (Field Services, Supply Chain)

  • Data analysis (Excel, Power BI), Digital tools (Power Apps, automation, SharePoint)

  • Process tracking and organization

  • Stakeholder Management (HRBPs, Operations)

  • Project coordination (multiple initiatives)

  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
