Talent Development Specialist - Houston, TX
LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES
Collaborates in the implementation of Personnel Development plans and in the Performance Appraisal Process within the region or functional area. Designs the key personnel development plan, people review, performance appraisal process, among other HR processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensures the application of key personnel development practices and HR development activities: interviews with HPs, Exit Interviews, etc.
- Assists the implementation of the Performance Appraisal Process in the region or functional area tracking all related activities.
- Collaborates in the People Review Process, analyzing Talent Pool and providing support to coaching activities.
- Ensures the preparation of reports / analysis requested by the line managers / HR managers, including Key Performance Indicators (KPI) analysis.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Provide HR policy guidance
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
- Identify training needs for teams and individuals
Requirements and skills
- 3 -5 years of proven work experience as an HR business partner
- Excellent people management skills
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
- BS degree in Human Resources or related field
