Position:  Automation Senior Specialist

Entity/Department: Tenaris Bay City, Inc.

Location: Koppel, PA (May work from home on a hybrid schedule in Koppel and surrounding areas)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

• Responsible for leading medium-sized complex automation projects in the Automation Department;
• Analyzing and introducing new technological methods with particular focus on promoting solutions based on cloud data platform according to Tenaris standards;
• Leading and supervising allocated engineering and investment projects and coordinating all necessary resources for project.
• Responsible for defining requirements and necessary stages ensuring an accurate preliminary analysis and getting the benefits according to the project payback.
• Identify cost deviations and estimated times for project execution.
• Coordinating with Operations and Maintenance on defining and prioritizing the continuous improvements activities requested by the plant;
• Generating failure analysis for defects/issues detected in the automation systems, and leading action plans to fix them.
• Availability to cover night shift and/or weekend shift during commissioning/startup.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering or closely related field such as Management Information Systems.
• Three (3) years of experience in a related occupation working in a Manufacturing facility in each of the following: developing software for automated control of shop floor systems as well as integration of equipment and other 3rd party systems C# and Microsoft SQL Server; utilizing Microsoft Azure cloud technology, and PowerBI.

Special Requirement: Up to 5% domestic travel and 5% international travel required to other Tenaris sites.
