The Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year program (full-time) that supports development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders in Tenaris.

A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris’ culture and industrial heritage leaving them prepared to take the next steps in their career.


Controls the area's production activity ensuring compliance with production plans, guaranteeing the quality of the Heat Treatment and Upsetting processes.


Main Responsibilities

  • Complies with established guidelines in the production program, observing production standards and customer requirements.
  • Applies use of defined indicators (interruption, utilization). 
  • Ensures compliance with process quality standards by observing discard and scrap levels in the heat treatment area.
  • Evaluates failure analysis and monitors corrective actions taken. 
  • Optimizes the Heat Treatment and Upsetting production processes and tools identifying the best technology, new applications and best use as well as potential improvements. 
  • Verifies the application and development of safety standards and environmental practices/legislation. 

Required Skills:

  • Data science software (Power Bi, Tableau)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering related.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to multi-task
