Tenaris’ Foreign Trade (FORT) department is opening an exciting opportunity for a Foreign Trade Analyst. We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented professional who is passionate about international trade and eager to contribute to Tenaris’ global operations.

In this role, you will support and oversee the full spectrum of international trade activities across the company. You will handle export documentation instructions, lead the analysis and negotiation of letters of credit, apply trade regulations and Incoterms expertise, and coordinate customs-related matters for both imports and exports. The ideal candidate will ensure compliant, efficient, and accurate execution of foreign trade processes while collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders across regions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Issue export documentation instructions for Tenaris production facilities.
  • Analyze and negotiate 100% of Tenaris’ letters of credit, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and banking requirements.
  • Apply solid knowledge of Incoterms and freight conditions to support trade operations.
  • Manage import and export customs-related topics, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations.
  • Ensure all export and import documentation complies with internal guidelines, legal frameworks, and international trade regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners(chambers, customs , embassies, shipping lines) to secure accurate and timely information.
  • Monitor export process progress and support the resolution of documentation-related issues.
  • Maintain organized documentation and contribute to process optimization.

 


Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Foreign Trade or related fields is preferred, but other degrees will also be considered.
  • 4 years’ experience in international trade, logistics, or export/import operations.
  • Knowledge of foreign trade processes, export/import documentation, and customs requirements.
  • Experience with letters of credit and international banking documentation.
  • Good understanding of Incoterms and freight conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish and/or other European languages is an asset
  • Familiarity with SAP and Power BI is preferred.
