Purpose


Helps provide technical assistance services to customers, ensuring the correct use of Tenaris products. Checks and follows up on feedback gathered from the field regarding product performance and other valuable on-field information for Tenaris.


Main Responsibilities

 

  • Provides technical support and directly liaises with customer representatives to ensure the product is installed in the most efficient manner, allowing it to perform to its optimum design potential.
  • Assists with general overviews to customer representatives at rig sites, utilizing Tenaris resources and other applicable information specific to the operation or region being visited.
  • Ensures the correct use of Tenaris recommended practices by controlling and overseeing well site preparations, operations, and the repair of Tenaris Premium Connections, with a focus on preventing potential problems and incidents. This maximizes the safety and efficiency of our product installations.
  • Follows up with customer representatives to gather feedback on the perception of Tenaris products and services, identifying potential areas for improvement.
  • Maintains up-to-date self-training and knowledge of Tenaris standards and procedures in accordance with the FISE training curriculum.
  • Responsible for timely completion of service reports, both in hardcopy and electronic formats, including running assistance reports, miscellaneous logs, inspection reports, service tickets, and specific reports.
  • Provides feedback from the field and the industry on the perception and attitude toward Tenaris and competitors' products, services, and technical innovations. Establishes and maintains files, adding them to the office reference library for competitor products and technical innovations.

 
Qualifications and skills 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in petroleum, mechanical, industrial engineering.
  • Willingness to work at rig sites and travel both locally and internationally.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage stress effectively and adapt to changing conditions in the workplace.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
