Foreign Trade Trainee  

LOCATION: Montevideo - Montevideo  - Uruguay 

DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN 

Foreign Trade Trainee

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES

• Preparation and revision of export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.) in accordance with customer instructions.
• Assure the correct documentation delivery (customs & payment) to comply with customs requirements and collection
• Assist in the communication with customers regarding documentation requirements or shipment updates.
• Manage documentation for letters of credit and bank presentations
• Identify digitalization opportunities within the area
• Assist in updating internal shipping instructions based on customer input and customs regulations.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and freight forwarders to track ongoing shipments.
• Collaborate with internal departments.

Requirements:

• Students of International trade ( preferred ), Accounting or Administration.
• ENGLISH (advanced)
• ITALIAN (desirable)
• Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Power BI) ( desirable )

Skills

• Communication and language skills ( English )
• Good interpersonal skills to interact internally with diverse areas and externally with Banks, Shipping lines , Forwarders , Embassies , Customers , Customs and customs brokers , Chambers of commerce.
