Planner de Materiales  

LOCATION: Neuquen - Neuquen  - Argentina 

DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN 

Purpose

Coordinates the contracting of third parties that provide logistics, engineering, labor, supplies and leading-edge technology for the Production and Administration lines, by coordinating contracting activity, maximizing contractual and economic benefits, and tapping the best sourcing alternatives offered by different local and foreign suppliers.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinates service contracting of fluids suppliers with the capacity to meet companies demands, freight suppliers, temporary outsourced personnel by area of operation, companies and service providers according to defined policies.

Maximizes contractual and economic benefits for the companies, negotiating financing terms and establishing with lawyers, terms and conditions for contracting with service providers and contractors.

Keeps senior management informed issuing reports on purchase price variations on a monthly basis.

Understand the relevant safety parameters associated with each type of purchase, and select suitable suppliers accordingly (ie: Safety indicators, HSE audits results).

Ensure that our suppliers know ts/TX/Exiros HSE polices for critical services.

Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
