Order Management Sr Analyst/ Specialist  

 

LOCATION: Nisku - Alberta  - Canada 

DEPARTMENT: SUPPLY CHAIN 

 

Role

 

We are currently seeking an Order Management Sr Analyst/ Specialist for our Supply Chain department to work at our manufacturing facility in Nisku, AB.

 

This role is part of a high-performance team working closely with commercial representatives to manage all Tenaris customer accounts in Canada. The role supports both offer engineering and order fulfillment activities, including cost and delivery analysis. Responsibilities span from receiving customer requests for quotation through to the complete fulfillment of contractual sales conditions.

 

They monitor the full production order cycle, ensuring timely execution in line with customer requirements and Tenaris quality standards. Regular activities include sourcing goods and services, issuing and tracking purchase orders, verifying compliance with technical and procedural requirements, overseeing timely invoice issuance, and responding to customer inquiries related to order execution and fulfillment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for product feasibility analysis, offer engineering, order acceptance, execution, and end to end follow up.
  • Ensures proper commercial activation by coordinating closely with internal teams and external suppliers of goods and services.
  • Collaborates with Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality teams to fulfill customer requirements in alignment with Tenaris standards and product procedures.
  • Maintains full understanding of the Tenaris connections manufacturing cycle, issuing production routings and activating manufacturing orders in the production system.
  • Initiates and monitors manufacturing activities at external suppliers through sourcing and purchase order issuance in adherence to minimum technical and procedural requirements.
  • Works with Inventory and Accounts Payable teams to confirm goods and services receipt and ensure timely supplier payments.
  • Coordinates and monitors all logistics activities related to order fulfillment, including inbound/outbound movements of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
  • Manages customer owned non operative stock located at manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensures on time and accurate customer billing by securing visibility and availability of all required documentation in line with freight, delivery, and contractual conditions.
  • Complies with all applicable Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to their area.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical degree and previous experience 3-5 years in an industrial, manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with other functional areas and internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is an asset.
  • Experience with SAP and/or working with OCTG is preferred.
  • Motivated, self-starter with a hands-on approach to order fulfilment
  • Positive attitude and an ambition to succeed in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize work.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to make decisions in a time sensitive environment, at times with limited resources and information and, when under pressure.

 

 

Schedule & Working Conditions:

  • 8-hr Days, with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • On-call rotation and overtime eligibility.

 

 

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $69,000.00 – $114,000,00 annually.

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and qualifications, as well as internal equity and market considerations.
