Role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Loader Operator to support our shipping and receiving operations. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment such as a front-end loader and Pettibone to safely move and manage tubular products and accessories.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Please note: Tenaris requires employees to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and fit test for this position as it is a safety sensitive position.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day yard activities upon completion of training, including supporting Yard Technicians
- Perform daily safety inspections and preventative maintenance checks on equipment
- Safely load, unload, and transport tubular products and accessories for shipment
- Prepare loads for third-party transportation with accuracy and care
- Clean and maintain heavy equipment as required
- Ensure equipment is properly secured and stored when not in use
- Participate in routine equipment and yard maintenance
- Support seasonal yard upkeep (winter, spring, summer, and fall readiness)
- Perform additional duties as required to support operations
Qualifications
- Loader/Operator certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving
- At least 1 year of experience operating a wheel loader with grapples, preferably handling OCTG materials
- Experience with Pettibone equipment and/or front-end loaders is strongly preferred
- Forklift certification is an asset (training available after hire)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
- SAP experience is considered an asset
